About
Ellie is 16-year-old performer from Philadelphia, who started acting professionally at the age of 8. Her favorite roles include the title role of Matilda at the Walnut Street Theatre (of note: this was the first production of Matilda after it closed on Broadway); and Mary Lennox at Broadway Music Circus in Sacramento, where she was honored to perform alongside Max von Essen as her uncle Archibald Craven. As a stage performer, she loves being a part of musicals in development, and has recently originated the role of Hania in the musical Bordello, as well as played Alexa in Atlantis.
Her vocals can be heard on the American Girl song “Celebrate What’s Great,” available on all major streaming platforms and the brand’s YouTube channel.
Ellie is thrilled to announce that her first feature film, Influenced—in which she plays Dakota—will have its world premiere at the Miami Jewish Film Festival on January 18–19, 2026, and is set for a theatrical release in April 2026.
She is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and is SAG-eligible.
In addition to performing, Ellie is passionate about interior design and watercoloring, and according to some, she is a “dog whisperer.”
“Ellie Biron as Mary Lennox possesses a maturity beyond her years and exudes an innate understanding of the more adult themes of the show. Her desire for soil to bring to life coincides timely with the brown transformation from thorny branch to blooming bud.”
